Do I really need to solder these new radio and speaker wires or can I just give them a good twist and secure them with electrical tape? Do they really make any difference?
Thanks |

If you are going to twist at least use a good western union splice.

Guys I twist them all I just don't have the time and patient in the cold to solder them. I just twist them up real nice and tape them up

How about using plastic connectors that you crimp with pliers???

Buy a selection of wire nuts - they twist on/off, but hold much better than just twisting/taping. They come in all different sizes - I've never had a problem using them.[?]
