Default Front Door Speaker Dimensions?

So I bought a pair of Infinity Kappa 6 1/2" for the front doors, and then I'm told that they are too deep and won't fit. Another friend tells me that they will fit.

Does anyone have the dimensions for what will fit in the front door speaker spots? Anyone have any good speaker suggestions? And lastly, has anyone installed a set of components, putting the tweeter into the 3 1/2 spots on the dash? I'm wondering how that would sound...

Thanks!

Infinity Kappa are great had them in my last car...Tweeters would sound good in the dash.
Havent upgraded the speakers in mine yet.
Try crutchfield...they have all the vehicle specific install info.

I believe the factory dash speakers are tweeters.
6 speaker system:
2 full range in the back
2 full range in the doors
2 tweeters in the dash

TPS is correct. The dash speakers are only tweeters.

Here's a guide for the door speakers:
