Default extracting a cd

When I installed my nav system I didn't realize I left a CD in old radio/cdplayer. Any thoughts on how to extract cd from removed player, without removing new system and pugging old one back in?
DAHHH!!!!![:I] Great cd too Dave Mason

Do a temp hookup like to a car battery to just power up the cd player and allow the cd to be ejected. There's a ground wire and hot wire on the radio harness that you do a temp attach to the negative and positive posts on the battery.

Looked up on the cd manual and found the pins I think needed to do this. I had the front of the radio off but couldn't figure out how to remove the cd. when I go to work I have some jumpers with alligator clips hopefully this should do it. I'll get back to you.

Tried something at work today and it didn't eject. I have to figure out what pins to energize. or just take five minutes and remove front console and plug in old player and eject. Will let you know

Took 5 minutes. Removed face plate and wiring harness from new radio and plugged in old and CD popped out. Removed plug and reinstalled radio. It was a snap. Took longer at work to find my long jumpers than to do it this way.[?]
