Factory subwoofer source.

If anybody is looking to get a factory sub for their PT I may just be able to point them in the right direction. I have been bidding on them on Ebay for a bit and never seem to win but the same guy has sold about 30 of them so I shot him an email yesterday to try to work out a deal outside of ebay. His have been selling for about 175 US with shipping to Canada included. He ships out of the US as well as Canada. I'll post here when I find out his exact price and then give people his email if anybody is interested.

I'd be careful of this seller. It just seems real suspicious that he/she has so many "factory" subs to sell. Find out as much as you can about him/her before you send any money. You can't always go by feedback on eBay unless the seller has been around a long time.

Well,he has a feedback of 87 and has been on ebay since 02. The last 25 things he sold which have all been since around december have been these subwoofers and every one has given him positive feedback.I think that seems pretty good. I haven't been ripped off yet on ebay and I surely wouldn't put the email address up here until I receive my sub. It looks as if when he first started selling these he was putting a buy it now around 100 bucks US and he was selling acouple a day ,after selling about 10 he stopped putting a buy it now.H must have realized that he could get more for them. I looked threw all the items he has sold and there doesn't seem to be any pattern that suggests that he is somehow cheating the system. Shipping times look good ,all stuff bought around christmas time seems to have taken a few extra days to be delivered,this is something I would expect a scammer to screw up and keep all his times similar.

To find the real price, you would have to get it through a dealer I believe. I imagine its more then 175. Plus, look at it this way you could always upgrade the sub alone at a later date.

I got one from him the other night for 151 US. That's pretty good as far as I can see.

I was bidding on one but did not win and he sent me an email with a second chance deal for it for my highest bid ,plus shipping of course. The total was 151 US or 187 canadian.

I bid on them several times and finally got one for $150. New, in the box, all the wiring and instructions. Really adds to the sound and pretty easy to install too.
