I just bought a new Mopar 10 CD Changer that is supposed to be compatible with my CD changer ready factory radio. I am hopelessy lost on how to install it in my 2005 PT Cruiser vert. The directions came in the box, but I don't quite understand electrical terms. Can anyone help? I'd appreciate it very much.

Best as I can remember, the cd changer just plugs into the rear of the radio. Its been awhile since I installed mine but I think thats all there was to it.

Found someone willing to install my mopar CD changer. He said I need a different wire harness; the one supplied does not fit. Anyone have any idea what kind of wire harness I need and where I might get one?

i believe the last radio with cd changer controls was the 2004 ,2005 radios don't have cd changer only SAT controls it will work if you have a late 2004 model
also the old style cd changer plug was a round 8 pin the new 2002 to 2004 is a square gray 10 pin plug |
