Default Deck Faceplate..

Hi Im taking out the deck from my old car and throwing it in my 2001 Pt Cruiser just wondering where can I buy a Faceplate or something to cover up the empty space in the dash after I put the deck in?

You can get install kits at circuit city or best buy.You may also want to get a wire harness to make things easier. You might also need an antenna adapter.

Actually, Circuit City or Best Buy are expensive. Walmart has the radio kits and OEM wire connector for half the price. The kits are made by Scosche. I just put in new Alpine decks in my 2005 Pt Cruiser and my wife's Scion XB with no trouble using those kits and wire harnesses from Walmart. Or you can do a search on ebay and buy a set (kit, antenna adapter, wire harness) for cheap too. Just search for radio install kit for PT Cruisers...The wire harness saves me half the time it would take to install a deck without the harness. And if I ever wanted to sell my car and put in the stock deck, I could just plug in the original radio without cutting any wires. Hope this helps...
