I have a 2006 PT Cruiser Touring Edtion I let my Sirius subscription run out I am trying to get it turned back on without needing to go to the dealers. I followed every single direction in the owners manuale, And can't get the sales code do I need that or just the cars vin number it's a factory installed Sirius sattlelite system came with a years sirius. I could use some help on this it seems like the dealers have it so everything you do you need to take it back to them. And iv got my own repair garage I just don't do radios well haven't had this kind of experiance,

Hi Well about my 2006 PT Cruiser I did get Sirius sattlite turned back on after a number of calls to Sirius and the dealers. Sirius told me only way was to have the sales code from the radio. The dealers told me bring the car down. Well I finally got a hold of a person on Sirius sattlelite that was really helpful. he asked me for the vin number of the car then said yeah I got it and then said I needed to be in the car I got in it turned the sattleite on and he said you should be hearing music anytime now I got my music and all my channels were still set the way they were before my subsription ran out. So if anyone on here has a 2006 older or newer PT Criuser you just give them your vin number and you should be able to get it turned on with that. I had an experiance with this deal hope this is helpful to anyone else that has this problem Russ

Ok now I have my Sirius working great done by the vin number. Now I can't set the radio clock? Maybe there is a trick to it I don't no it is set back an hour, I wasn't aware that I also had a clock in the radio until I had to go through a proceedure to get Sirius working and that didn't work either. I have bought the car brand new. And have the extended warrenty but I should be able to set this myself, If anyone has set the time on a 2006 pt cruiser radio let me no how you did it thanks a lot Russ

You do NOT have a clock in your 2006. Your clock is above the radio. You just push the little black stem to set the clock. If you are sure there is a clock in the radio, check your owners manual.

With the radio off press and hold the time button. The clock will start flashing the hours. Use the channel knob to change the time. When your done push time again.
