Unhappy Alarm randomly goes off

The alarm in my car just goes off randomly by itself, and it does it a lot. Several times a day. I changed the battery in the clicker thing and that didn't stop it. I need some help because it is really obnoxious.

It is a 2001 limited and I think it's just the factory alarm, and while I was typing this it went off.

By alarm, you mean the horn is going off right? That's the only alarm the PT ever came with.

Sound like Remote Keyless Entry Module (RKEM) is bad. It's behind/above the radio.
