Default After market radio and Sirius

Hi guys, I have a couple of questions.
1- I have a 2006 PTC touring edition which came with factory installed Sirius radio. I want to upgrade my stock radio to an after market radio, does anyone know if I'll be able to use the same Sirius tuner with the new after market radio or will I have to buy a special adapter or something (If the input jack on after market radio is same as on stock radio). I'm planning on buying Kenwood excelon X790.

2- There are two 6X9 mounts behind the vertical trim panels, against the back door, above the shelf but there are no wires, do you think I'll have to do wiring to install a pair of 6X9 speakers..

Thanks in advance for your help.

Im not sure about the 2006 models but when I insatlled my Kenwood head into my 2005 model I had to by an adaptor for my Sirius Tuner,(it plugs in the cd changer port on the back of the radio). You're best bet is to go to Best Buy,Circuit City or Someplace like that and ask them what you would need.
As for the speaker ports that sounds like the stock mounts for the factory rear speakers which means the wiring should be there you just have to dig around for it,Low profile 6x9s should fit there with no modifications needed. Btw did you buy the pt new or used as it seems strange that a new pt does not have the rear speakers?

In 2006 rear speakers are in rear doors. The vertical mounts behind the rear seats are for Boston Acoustics equipped cars...
