Kicker upgrade for 06-07 PTs

Has anyone installed these? Kicker upgrade kits that are designed for the PT cruiser 06-08.

How do they sound?

Is there a noticeable difference?

If so, How much of a difference?

im not sure about the 'upgrade kits', but i just installed kicker 6.5" in all the doors. much clearer than stock. the factory deck wont be able to produce much bass from them. i upgraded to an eclipse deck and now i get some nice bass.

what model of Kicker did you use and did you have an issue with the depth, ??? and i was thinking about putting in the Eclipse HD Radio I have but the color on the radio ( sort of an orange ) would throw off my color scheme...

speakers were the kicker KS65. depth was slightly deeper than stock, no interference at all, you will have to redrill holes (go through crutchfield and you get free speaker harnesses that plug right into your facotry plugs making for a sweet and easy install). as for the deck i went witht he eclipse cd3100. nice deck. and the color scheme is the same as the gauge and dash light schemes on my 06.

this was the first time i went through crutchfield for stereo equipment and i would HIGHLY recommend shopping online with them. all the install kits and harnesses and adapters for both the decks and speakers were FREE. i found the prices to be below any other place around here also. just thought id let you all know.
