The alarm system on my Pt has been going off on its own about time it is driven.
Even if i disconnect the battery over night the next day it will begin going of intermittently and the door locks and light keep cycling I took it to a dealer and they said there was no way to permanetly disconnect a factory alarm. Any thought sould be appreciated. |

not how to disconnect, only that they would need to do a complete diagnotic to fix, however i do not want the alarm it has been a $^%^#&&** for a while
wanted $90 bucks for the diagnostic. |

thanks for the info, i unplugged the RKE module and although I have no RKE, there is no irrittaing and unprdictable door lock chatter/ Oh, dealer wanted $500 to diagnose and repair. My solution 0$ and one half hour of my labor and the online help of PT owners
Thanks again to all ![]() |
