Hey their gbcruiser, and brightlight07,

I thank you much! Its still a work in progress, but coming along little by little. Right now, I am still tweaking the sound a little to dial it in a little tighter, and afterward plan to the face of the box with a piece of sheet metal with an air brushed mural with flames to match the front, and add a skull, and hands ripping through the flame layout to the right side of the box, and a few other odds, and ends, but the sound is pretty decent!

The only downside I have with this set up is that since the subs are mounted inverted, they use the air space inside the PT to produce the bass, so if you open the trunk, the sound has no where to resonate so it winds up sounding not that great. Close the trunk, and it hits pretty hard! So its just a matter of having to sacrifice a little on one side to get the cool look I recon!

I was actually just getting ready to do some more work o it when my Wife started begging me to fix up our Nissan Titan which is our daily driver/future tow vehicle, so I am now having to spend a bit of time cleaning it up. I started by hitting the salvage yard and found a pair of chrome mirrors, grille, and center bumper insert for $120 for all! My friend is almost done with the suspension, and then its off to the Paint Booth for me once again to add a little color! Here is a little peak at that project.

I totally understand the concept of too many projects, and no money to make dreams come true! The only thing that keeps me in the Custom world is by trading paint, and air brush work straight across. Otherwise their aint no way I could even remotly keep up with most of my PT Friends who have money!

Anyways, you two go easy, and I will catch you around the Forum!

Hey brightlight07,

Yep, same truck now sitting on bags, and c notched as of last Friday. A lot of peeps like to rag on guys dropping trucks, but I have always loved that tucked low ride sitting on the rockers, and since my Wife won't let me trade it in on a Dually like I wanted, this is my compromise. After its all done, its going into the spray booth where I am gonna shoot candy burgandy wine on the lower half with a slight dip around the rack doors, and drop shadow the stock charcoal paint to give it that 3D hovering look. All together, I am happy with the new stance! We will see how the paint comes together!

Anyways, take it easy!
