How do you get through the firewall?

Can anyone help me get a power wire for my amp through the engine bay to the interior? Noticed on other posts that there should be a grommet but I cant find it, or at least not one where you can poke the wire all the way through.

Where the hood latch cable goes through the firewall.

Mean Green's right on. A lot easier to get at it from inside the car, harder to see from the engine bay. There's room enough to get a few wires through the hole along with the hood latch cable.

Use a heavier piece of wire and tie/tape the wire you want to pull thru to it. That way someone can pull it while you feed it thru from the inside.

standard or auto tranny?
if automatic there is a plate in the firewall where the clutch would be,right behind brake pedal.
