A fuse has been blown when you were working with the wiring. The BCM body control module knows this.

The PCI communications bus circuit is multiplexed information from the BCM to all the PT's components. They are in constant communication. There are a dozen or so diagnostic codes and tests the OEM radio is capable of. These tests and codes are reported to the BCM via the PCI bus.
If you are installing and aftermarket radio, you will lose this feature. PCI is an OEM feature only.
The PCI bus wire is incorporated into the single wiring harness of the 2002 & newer factory radios.

I guess that fuse #18 in the fuse box under the air cleaner, under the hood is blown.

It's a 20amp fuse with a plastic pull tab on it.

It controls IOD ignition-off draw.

Refer to section 8-11 of the 2001 service manual.
