NEW SPEAKERS! rear pillar help!!?

Default NEW SPEAKERS! rear pillar help!!?

ok so i go to install my new infinity speakers into the rear pillars... when i get stopped becuase a screw is unacsessable even with the pillar peice off.... can someone help.. no screw driver can fit on that angle to get it out.. and i have no idea how to take the back side panel off.

please help!

ps i got infinity 6x8/5x7 two way 180w max

Yeeah I could use some info on this as I was trying to install new led's in that lil cubby back there.

I did it so you should be able too.

Try a right angle screwdriver, it helps.

Had the same problem. I just cut out a small piece of the plastic to get to it. Its totally hidden under the pillar cover.

its official.. my pt hates me

i finaly get the side panels out and remove all the screws for the speaker... AND THE SPEAKER WONT BUDGE!!

its almost like they superglued the speaker to the pillar.. wtf

i snapped the tip of a tool i was using to try and pry it loose like.... why has this been done?

can someone please tell me how to pop these lil bastards out.. omg this 10 min project turned into 3 useless days :@

Try HEAT, they sometimes used a glue to hold the speaker in place

I used a flathead screw driver and wedged it between the speaker and the metal, it came right off for me.
