Hey Everyone,
Well my big secret project has turned into a bigger ordeal than I originally expected but its coming along. Basically I am finally redesigning my trunk layout somewhat. I now have a totally new subfloor that covers over my amp, and canister that will be covered in black leather to match the rest of my original box Then we went ahead and made some custom bars that mount to the subfloor, and go up into mounts created that fit between the subs which another amp will be mounted to which will make it kinda float over the box, and is being painted House of Kolor Candy Tangerine to match the outside. Then we took out my new Clarion Head Unit, cut the dash, and made a custom chassis to house both the Head Unit, and a 24 band digital Equalizer, and Sound Processor all housed in a custom fiberglassed opening where the original head unit used to fit. Finally today we took all the rest of the dash out, sanded everything from the gauge cluster, center bezel, air bag cover, all the vents, and the window switch cover, smoothed everything, body filled, and sanded everything to perfection, and shot everything in Candy Tangerine as well. Unfortunately as of tonight the amp rack, and all of the dash is still in the booth so I don't have good pics yet but it came out pretty sweet! I will be over at the shop color sanding, buffing glazing, and waxing in the morning, and am hoping to have everything re-assembled by tomorrow night, and snap some photos the following day after I do a really good detail to get all the ton of saw dust off my baby! The only downside was that a helper working on the install accidentelly slipped on a screwdriver and put a small dent in the left rear quarter so after everything is back together it is going back into the body shop asap to get the damage redone and re-painted in time for the big Lowrider Supershow on the 9th - 10th. Here are a couple of quick sneak peaks of the trunk layout before upholstery and paint. ![]() ![]() Anyways, I am hoping to have everything back and re-assembled by sometime Monday Night and then I will try to take pic's of the final project befor heading to the Body Shop. Go easy, and I will catch you later! Candyman

Hey Everyone,
Well, here is just a little update on my ongoing trunk redo project. As mentioned before, my installer accidentally slipped on a screwdriver and fell against my left rear quarter panel which caused a small dent. These things do happen and luckily I really enjoy doing repairs like this once in a while. I'm also using the opportunity to mix up some extra paint and am in the process of smoothing, and prepping to re-shoot my gauge cluster, center bezel, air bag cover, vents, and power window switch in my custom Candy Tangerine Pearl. So far I got the body work done, and the left rear quarter color sanded and prepped. Now I am just waiting on the special order paint. Here are a couple of quick sneak peaks. ![]() ![]() I am hoping to have paint by either tomorrow or Monday, and hope to have everything done, wired up, and ready for the Lowrider Show next weekend. We shall see how it goes. ANyways, you guys go easy, and I will post more pic's when I get further. Candyman

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to post the final results of the epic month long project. Its still a work in progress but here is where I am at as of the moment. I know my AC controls are painted over. I am planning on getting the stainless inlay for it shortly. Also I wound up adding the stainless flames, and 11" Monitor to the program. Please let me know what you think of it so far. Good? Bad? Your critique is always much appreciated! ![]() ![]() ![]() Go easy, and thank you in advance for your response! ![]() Candyman
