Default Audio System

Looking for somewhat of a good audio system, not looking to go over board with it. What I was wondering was how many speakers are there in the PT Cruiser Touring Edition, 2005. I'm Pretty sure their are six, 2 in the dash, 2 in front doors, and 2 in back. Am I correct?

if you are talking about the sub I would say no it is only a 8 in a limited space. But it all is what you want. Myself I like 12's I am putting in a boston ss12 gtuned box it doesn't take up all my room in the trunk.

Yeah, i don't really want to take up my trunk space, but i want a decent sounding audio, plus if i replace all 6 speakers and get the sub, and maybe an amp under my seat. idk what is all good, I'm not into audio systems, but in the summer i think im going to go look around since i'll be free from school

If you want to HEAR the bass but don't really need to FEEL it:
  • Remove the passenger's seat drawer
This little sub won't give you all the "oomph" that a 12" would...but since it's nearer, you'll hear a big difference VS stock anyway.
  • Put an amp under the driver's seat
  • Change all the 6 OEM speakers.

I changed mine with some Polk Audio speakers. 3.5" db351 in the dash location, 6.5" shallow mounted db651s in the front doors, 5x7" db571 in the rear pillars. I then bought a Kenwood KSC-SW10 powered sub and a 300w 2 channels amp for the door speakers.

Nothing to brag around but it's not the point. I want to hear music, not to shake the neighbourhood.

Hey thanks for your reply, I just want to hear it a bit louder without sounding like garbage. I don't really want to feel it either. I'm probably going to be looking into this once i make some money from grass cutting =P and unfortunately the link was invalid but this sounds like a good idea.
