Hi guys,
As previously mentioned on an earlier post I am new here and would like some EXPERT advice from you PT enthusiasts. I have a 2002 2.0 limited. The sound system in her is stock, and to be honest compared to MOST standard factory audio systems the sound isnt bad at all. Now the problem I have is I have noticed that one of the rear spoeakers has blown, what aftermarket spoeakers would you suggest and more to the point standard fittings!!! I do not wanna start messing around cutting and messing with her, just want some decent aftermarket rears to slot straight in! As for the sound system itslef I will eventually look into what to do there, so if you have any thoughts on that then please do ad your comments. Great forum and thanks in advance for any help! Hey their CoolhandPuke,
I am running: Rockford Fosgate T1682S 6"x8" 2-way Component speakers, and tweeters with crossovers. Great sound! Not sure what year you got so I will give you the rundown on both types. The stock locations for 01 through I believe 04 are 6x8 and located in the rear pillers. The newer body style from 05 - 09 are 6.5 in the rear doors. Here is my set up. ![]() ANyways, thats my two cents. Go easy, Candyman

LOL!
VERY VERY nice! Let me start again, ok firstly I am a UK owner, secondly I am not looking to spend a fortune! I have had a read around and from what I can gather the most common are the POLK! However there seems to be very few if any dealers for them in the UK. I wish I had the money and the lack of family lol! To be able to kit my cruiser out like yours mate looks awesoem and I bet it sounds great too (jealous). Any other Ideas? |

Hey their CoolhandPuke,
Hm, I might have to do a bit more research and see what I can find over your way. Didi a quick search for a UK version of Crutchfield, but as far as I can find their is no Counterpart. Anyways, the rear pillars are 6x8. Polks are very good! I have 17 Polk speakers in my 7.1 Surround Home Theater and they sound great! I'll see what I can find around. Take er easy. Candyman
