Default Bass Test

Does anyone know of a good bass test song? I'm looking to see how much my sub will go once it's installed next Monday.

For bass testing, you have to have Late Night Tip by Three 6 Mafia.

Make sure you've got your crossovers set right for your front speakers as the mids in the song hit pretty hard. My doors rattled like crazy before I bought 4" thick medium density foam, made a door template and crammed them between the door and the door skin.

Dynamat's pretty overrated/overpriced and doesn't really help with rattling..

Yeah, it will, but you won't get the results you're expecting from it. All it does is address one issue to the problem. It simply adds mass to the body panels, but doesn't fill the spaces between them. That's where most of your vibrations come from.

If/when you get your car back on Monday, if you notice any vibrations or anything else, let us know and I'd be more than happy to help you get what you need to fill your doors with foam. It's well worth the time and only costs about $30. It also helps your front door speakers in that it forces sound to come out of the front of the speaker as opposed to escaping to the side or simply vibrating.
