When you say 'picnic table' are you referring to the storage shelf?

And to address your dimming situation: have you attempted the hyperground configuration yet? I had the same problems that you listed and was told basically the same things: higher output alternator or an Optima battery, or a capacitor. I'm of the type of audio enthusiast that doesn't like adding extra loads to a system so I didn't like the idea of adding a cap. Then I ran into the hypergrounding topic, ran a couple wires from my battery and viola! problems solved.
Yes, my new PT did not come with the storage shelf unfortunately.

Re: Hypergrounding Topic - Is this a topic in the forums? If so, could you provide me with the URL (I searched and couldn't find anything). If not, could you provide with some insight on this? Or is this the same thing as suggested by bobdole369 (Thanks for your suggestion!). If they are not the same suggestion, I will try them both. Never thought that running a ground from battery to chassis would make that much of an impact.

Re: Hypergrounding - never mind....I found it using Google of all things....don't know why I couldn't pull it up in the Ptcruiser site.

I see now that this mod also encompasses bobdole369's suggestion. I am pumped to give it a try. Thanks guys for your input.

Re: Bose - I have two Bose DJ systems (and one Peavey) and love the clarity and durability that the Bose sound offers...I definitely have pushed them on many a wild party and amazed that they still keep up. If the hypergrounding mod does have a positive impact (which seems to be the collective response), I may not need to even consider this change.
