Remote Keyless Entry Module
Does anyone know if the RKEM (Remote Keyless Entry Module) that's underneath the dash is the same between '01s and '05s? Simply because I've been having the intermittent door unlock problem and want to fix it, but warranty won't cover it unless the problem occurs when a shop has it. It only happens about once a month when the car gets extremely hot inside, but to time my delivery to the shop perfectly is almost impossible..

Sorry Chris. The dealer is probably the place to answer that one. Most people just buy a new one from the dealer and get the one from the year they have not asking if they can get from from a different year. If I had to guess, I'd say they are all the same.
