Question help?

does anyone know how to take out a stock radio to a 2001 pt cruiser? I've had the converter and the amp for quite a while,confusedconfused the only thing is I have no clue on how to remove the stock radio in order to connect the converter and amp.

Gently pry out the window switches in the middle of the center dash. You'll see a phillips screw inside. Unscrew that. Take the knobs off the air conditioning/heater controls. Don't think there's anything else to take off. Unhook the window control wires from the switch, now gently pry all around the edge of the center console and it will start to come out towards you.

It's been quite awhile since I did that so I might have left off something you have to take off but it should be pretty evident what it is when you start to pry off the console surround.
