Alarm activations

hi all,

Having a problem that started a few weeks ago where my cruisers alarm activates for no reason at approx 1am in the morning. This can happen for a couple of nights in a row then be fine for a week to 2 weeks then happen again at approx the sam time. It has happened in my brothers house aswell as mine and when it has been raining or dry. In the meantime how do i lock without setting alarm as it sets with fob and using key lock. I have a 2001 touring edition.

Not sure how to remote lock without arming but I'm thinking the false alarms can come from a faulty door pin. Also a bad battery can cause a voltage drop that might set off the alarm.

You said that it happens around the same time every night? Does this mean the vehicle has been sitting for the same duration? I mean parked for the same number of hours after you turn the ignition off and remote lock the car?
