Double DIN Stereo install going into 05 Vert

So had to retype it as the website didn't load this part...

Summery

I left the bottom metal bar just bent it to a little lower possition... Not thinking those bars did all that much other then simply a dash support that after testing for movement by hitting HUGE road bumps and the dash and stereo didn't move or flex and there were no movement noises...

I might try and attach a small metal brace above the radio but not sure yet...


I'm thinking of taking the spare plastic I removed inside of the radio area and cutting them to fit the openings, then seeing how it looks...

New to this forum, so feel free to ignore me lol. Just an idea I had, you can buy a double din kit for a 08 Dodge Nitro which go on both sides and are about an inch wide each. They are black already so should match your deck. Anyway, Im not sure if this would actually work or not, just an idea I had. Good Luck,

P.S. I used to have a 08 Nitro, thats why i even thought of doing this, I really dont see why it shouldnt work. It will require you to cut a bit more in order to fit them but should be ok. Id check then double check first.
