Yup. To get the cover off, pry out the window switches to expose a screw that holds it on.

Look at the first 2 files in this thread:
Speakers removal HOW TO I can resume the process for you though. 1. Remove the power windows switch panel using a thin knife (butter) or something. Pry gently. Then disconnect the harness. 2. Remove all the 4 climate system knobs 3. Unscrew the Phillips screw behind the power windows panel 4. Pry out the center consol trim. No more screws, only some metal clips hold it 5. You will now see 2 Phillips screws each side of the first screw that you removed already. Unscrew them all. 6. Remove the "A" pillar cover. No screws, only metal clips involved. 7. Pull the dash cover to release the metal clips that hold it there 8. Pry up the front edge of the dash cover and then pull it toward you 9. You'll now see the keyless entry module in the middle of the dash Done! |

Did you ever determine if you could repair your unit or did you replace it? My PT has the same problem.

NOO i pull the TRW brain and it is here in my desc i don't see a way to program this with out the obd2 crysler computer
the other idea was to find a use brain from the junk yard from a pt cruiser with the remote, or install a viper alarm system in the same factory location ( middle of the dash ) i found power, ignition, parking lights, door pins, siren, hood and rear hatch pins, also somelight supervision i just have to run a calbe for the kill ignition
