Easy answer: 4" won't fit
BUT...you can fit anything in everything with some patience, modifications and thinking. The major problem, beside the fact that the hole isn't even large enough to fit 3.5" without a dremel job, is the bolt pattern with 3.5" speakers specifications. Yah - most 3.5's don't fit either (too deep). The hole pattern fits a 3.5", so a 4" - well maybe you have a small one? It'd work with a thin spacer no issues. The factory speaker is a tweeter on a plastic adapter ring.
To fit Boston Acoustics s35's up there I needed about 10 minutes with a dremel. |
