Dash Speakers

Whats up guys, I`ve read here that the dash requires 3.5" speakers. I`m wondering if 4" will fit? Anyone try this out?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot, Jon

Easy answer: 4" won't fit


BUT...you can fit anything in everything with some patience, modifications and thinking.


The major problem, beside the fact that the hole isn't even large enough to fit 3.5" without a dremel job, is the bolt pattern with 3.5" speakers specifications. And I'm not talking about speaker depth and height that can cause problems too.

Yah - most 3.5's don't fit either (too deep). The hole pattern fits a 3.5", so a 4" - well maybe you have a small one? It'd work with a thin spacer no issues. The factory speaker is a tweeter on a plastic adapter ring.

To fit Boston Acoustics s35's up there I needed about 10 minutes with a dremel.
