Default Kicker DCVR12 combo box?

I'm looking to buy some subs to mate up well with my Alpine MRP-M500 amp.
I am considering a Kicker DCVR12 combo box and subs.
The size should fit and leave lots of room for the port to fire.
Im looking at the 2 ohm setup.

Where is the best or easiest place to get through the fire wall close to the driver side with 4 gauge wire?
...I have a 5 speed

If you find the cable that releases the hood, that goes through the firewall using a black round grommet. There's enough space in that same hole to put a bunch of wires through to the engine compartment. I have 4 wires there myself to include the computer control for my undercar lights, in/out wires for my Ahooga horn and the main power wire for my Clarion AMP that's under the front seat.

Well I got the combo box/speakers today.
It will be a week or so until I can get the amp and new head unit hooked up.

I can wait......Ill post some pics of the install when done.
