audio question
have 2001 PT with factory am/fm/cassette with cd changer control. lousy sound. plan to upgrade to aftermarket receiver with cd. any experience out there with specific units? considering alpine or sony. also any experience with custom mounting kits to make aftermarket unit mount/look right in dash? also plan to change speakers (probably Polk or MB Quart)

I've had my Sony head unit in one other car before this one, and I LOVE it. Absolutely no problems. And as far as mounting goes, I had no trouble getting it fitted to fit perfectly. Only problem is that this one has red lights, so it doesn't match the rest of the interior, but that's a minor detail, I think....

I have a full clarion car... just sounds so good. do a compenet set up front and clarion make very nice decks these days.. u can these sites they have some good prices
