It's a 7 band EQ. But you can honestly get a 8 band eq built in to the head unit already.

It is always a good sign when we come to the exact same brand and model #. The Head unit I will be posting my install when everything gets here, so it will be a surprise. The information that you provided me was used, just did not come to the same out come, or head unit. Pioneer is a great brand, but to get everything that I wanted I would have spent at least triple. The 2v vs 4v always sat in the back of my mind, which the EQ was suggested to me when I was able to play with a demo of the radio I ended up with. Not to mention I got a 4 yr warranty on it. So event though I ended up with a different radio, you were still a part of me deciding which unit I bought. So thanks and don't stop talking to me because of my choice.
