Thanks , Like i said its basicly a temp setup till i do the ICE (in car entertainment) system. I think i'm going to move the amps to a rack on the headliner just ahead of the hatch, and then fiberglass the subs into the rear panels. That way it keeps my cargo space, makes the subs and amps hard to spot from outside the car, and i maintain my function of the rear seats

Yeh it bumps!!!!! I wanna see if i can take it to the local shop and have the SPL measured, i'm guessing it's probably around 150db.

Only problem i have encountered so far is the dimming headlights, it's making me crazy. Oh, and with the way its jumping I'll end up losing the rearview mirror in no time.

So now the plan is to move the amps to the headliner just ahead of the hatch. I hadda talk to a few people who do custom installs for a living and get thier input as to the best way to mount em.

Now that I have that covered, I gotta find a friend who welds and have em build a mounting bracket that i can bolt to the rear pillars and then run more wire, ughhhh and should be good to go. The amps will be out of sight and out of my way. Then to dampen the rear quarters and finerglass the subs into the side panels in the rear so I can get rid of the cargo hogging sub box.

The ultimate plan is to keep this setup and also keep as much of my cargo area as I can.

yeh i got your pics, thats tight bro, i like it. anyway no i havent dampened the panels inside yet, dynamat is way overpriced. i'll be using aircraft interior sound deadener on it, I should have some this week. and then i'm going to fill in all the gaps with expanding foam and hopefully no more rattles.

I also need to work on building the amp rack for the headliner andthe fiberglass pods for the subs as soon as I have time to let the car sit long enough since it's going to be at last an all day project to just get it all layed out.

well i have 10 days off commin up so maybe i can make some progress
