Thanks, battery is fairly new, If I take out the fuse for the alarm will the remote locking still work?

I suspect not.
I would try closing all doors and the hatch again on the off chance that one of the sensors sees something as barely closed...

It locks fine, but the alarm goes off after a few mins and no matter how many times I turn it on and off, it does it again. Driving me and everyone else mad. Dont suppose theres any way of making it less sensitive?

Dont know, sorry , it was on the car when I bought it 2 years ago, it has sensors in the car, but i think its the factory fitted one.

It may be aftermarket then. Check for a switch under the dash on the drivers side. There may be a way to just turn it off.
The factory alarm only goes off when a door is opened and you didn't use the remote to unlock it. Its a pretty simple setup so unless there is a short in one of the sensors that tells when the doors are shut I don't see much going wrong with it. |
