Default Car radio fried?

I was changing my instrumental lights and needed to take the negative battery cable off. So in the process i forgot to take my radio out which seems to have fried it.

Is their anyway to see if its just the wiring that was fried? Or if the wiring is fried the whole radio is gone? Will i need to replace the wire harness?

Or is a new deck my only option.

I came to the conclusion that my radio was fried, because i re-installed the stock radio and it is working perfectly fine.

Thanks in advance for the help and advice
