Sorry so long but had a lot to explain.

Bren-
Happy to try and help you. Few questions, what year is your pt?, is it a stock mopar radio you purchased or after market?, what are you trying to accomplish with the aux input? Assuming you want to be able to hook up an Ipod or mp3 player and your old stereo worked fine there is an easier way of doing it with a FM modulator. Also, the fact that you are a woman changes nothing! (learned that from my wife! ) if you can twist a screwdriver, with the help of everyone here on the boards, you can do it yourself with no problems. On my 03' my wife timed me @ 34 seconds to get our stereo out without destroying anything , but then again being a Hispanic from NYC I might be slipping a bit! LOL!
Cheers!
