Here's what I get when I pull that part number:

Enjoy the convenience and peace-of-mind of electronic exterior and interior vehicle protection with the Mopar EVS I Security System. Specifically designed to add security features to your existing remote keyless entry transmitter. Kit offers perimeter/interior protection with horn-honk alarm, starter interrupt and dash-mounted LED.

Notes: For vehicles with production remote keyless entry. Cannot be used with Mopar remote start.

This part fits the following vehicles:
Chrysler: PT Cruiser 2006 - 2010

There is a pdf install guide at this location, you may want to look at it: http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-...r.ashx?id=1983

Chryslerpartsstore.com also lists this as 2006 and up. Odd though, I went to Bancroft Accessories and they list the part number as 82209717 for '06 and up, and the part number ending 07 they list as EVT, not EVS. Weird, they probably have it all wrong.

I just read through the install manual, the EVS I is definitely for pre-2006 models, the EVSII is for '06 and newer. Interesting intsall, not going to be a simple task.
