So I had been using my CD player all summer, but then decided to switch over to the radio to try and use my iPod (radio transmitter attached). Unfortunately, this is when I realized my radio is not working. It will search and search and search for a station until it automatically stops. No sound comes out, not even static. This is the same for FM and AM. Is there something dead or fried going on here? I just want to listen to my iPod between Atlanta (where I live) and Greenville (where I study).
Switch back over to CDs and it works perfectly, so I know the CD player is fine. 2003 PT Cruiser. Less that 100k miles. |

I am not spending any money on an adapter for the iPod. I have a $50 radio transmitter for the thing. And that would only solve part of the problem. I want to be able to use my radio for other reasons as well as well. With a working radio, nothing else is needed for an iPod given the working radio transmitter. Also, the transmitter charges the iPod at the same time. So it is dual purpose.
As for the antenna, it is still attached. |
