Ours is an 02 base model. I installed one called just EVS. It's just a siren and starter disable. Since it has no power door locks, I don't know if it would operate them. The install wasn't hard...except for the (#$$%&)wire under the battery. I chose this system because I know it's compatible and, as a DC product, it's covered under the car's warranty.
P.S. When I picked up the PT, I ordered the manual the same day.

The interior theft sensor is the same infrared shock sensor CodeAlarm uses for their alarms. Awesome piece. When it is properly adjusted, you should have no false alarms (ok, MUCH less than any other shock sensor).

dbraveman,
I have not installed one on a Chrysler system, but have done the CodeAlarm setups before. Basically, the sensor is a plug-and-play affair. The sensor plugs into a port on the alarm brain. There is a knob on the side of the sensor to adjust its sensitivity. I would assume (watch that word...) that the sensor has an instruction sheet in order to help setup. Make sure you mount the sensor on a solid surface (firewall, if possible). This will help to ensure that less false alarms occur. Scott
