Default JL Audio StealthBox for the PT

Anyone have a price on the JL Audio StealthBox for the PT? You can't get it online as far as I can tell.

Has anyone tried taking the panel piece out of the side there. I tried it and couldn't figure it out. I removed all the screws and hooks and still no luck. I don't need to try it again thankfully.

I took mine out, no problem. You must have missed a screw, check this link for removal instructions.

Dragula--I have a JL Audio Stealthbox for the PT for sale. I'm asking $300. I felt it sounded very good and it fit exactly as the name implies.

Since you're on the subject, I havent pulled that panel off yet so IR can you give me a good guesstimate about the depth from the panel to the inner skin? I just wanna see if I'll have enough space to mount my subs or if i have to extend the panel out to get some depth...lol...does that make sense?

JaxPT, it's been awhile since I've had the panel off but if I remember correctly the panel fits pretty close to the body. If you measure the depth of the pocket that is back there, that's about how much room you will have.

Hi, I just finished making a subwoofer box out of fiberglass for the rear panel area. It kind of looks like JL's version, but not quite as clean. It was my first attempt at fiberglassing, but overall it came out ok. But back to your question, if I remember correctly, it's about 5 3/4" deep, but half way up it reduces to 5".

Sorry, not yet. I'll try to post some pics this weekend of what it looks like. Right now I only have pics of what the finish install looks like. The stereo is a pioneer, I painted the trim a matching blue and tweeters on the door. The sub is behind the side panel. If you notice the back floor, you see that it's raised 3". Under that I have my amps. I like keeping things out of view....
