IRPT, Im not too worried about the clock and the radio channels getting missed up. Im going to be putting in a new deck this weekend. But you gave me the idea of writing down my radio channels
 .

Well I installed the deck without taking off the negative cables. All I had to do is crimp wires and connect the boxes and install.
