Welcome Gt tuner,
Heck no, Lower window Start by unscrewing the four philips screws along the door trim edge Then remove the two torx-30 screws in the handle area Then pop off the mirror trim panel, it is held by two metal retaining clips Start in the upper corner nearest the open are near the mirror. Run you finger down along the door while pulling to release the plastic screw clips along the outside of the door trim making your way all around the outside. After all the clips are out the door panel should swing freely from bottom up Carefully lift the door panel out of the door window track, while watching that it doesn't get snagged on the door rubber trim After up off the rubber door window track Pull the panel away from the door enough to reach down and unhook the door release pin Do this by pushing up on the retaining clip it is either blue or yellow untill it unhooks (careful its plastic) Pull the pin out of the opening Then unhook the power mirror wire (if have power mirrors) Do this by pushing up on the wire connection piece while pulling with the other hand. Then the door panel should be free to remove and stow away for install later.

Hello,
I am following your instructions to remove the door panel in my 2007 PT Crusier, but I can't find the 4 screws along the edge that you described in your post. I did find the 2 on the door handler. What can I do to remove those panels? I am trying to replace my factory speakers. Thank you. Morfeo |

You can get a door panel tool from Autozone that makes removing the panel a lot easier.

Hi,
I will get the door panel removal tool from Autozone but I still can't find the other 4 screws. I already check under the door with no luck. I only found the 1 in the door opener and 2 in the door handler. Thanks for helping. |

Theres one screw behind the chrome handle. 2 in the armrest. The others are along the edge of the panel. There are little recessed areas around the screw.
