Default Great sound with bass tube!

Hi everyone this is my first post. I own a '02 Stone white PT and I am loving it! Anyhow....I had a few people tell me to get good sound I needed a amp and subs, but fortunately I went to Arkansas Car Stereo and they hooked me up with a Rockford Fosgate 8 inch bass tube. This bass tube has a built in AMP and will THUMP. It can make the hair on your head move with the beat. So if your looking for good sound and not too much money then go with a bass tube. You should spend less than $400.00 for a quality one. Mind you mine is a 8 inch they come larger than that! Plus they leave you lots of trunk space and depending on what kind you get you can take them out really easily if you need the room.[8)]

ptmama,
Welcome to the forum.

Its starts. I installed a system in a 93 Grand Marquee last Sunday. Now I would like to do some sub work. I have already done the deck and all four speakers minus the front in dash ones, they sound good and didn't need to change. It sounds really good now but, I would like some more bass without the space all the equipment takes up. I have an idea to get two of these installed under each seat to provide each of the front seats with even vibration and sound through out the car.

This would work for what I want.

hehe I had no idea they even made mini-subs like that, if you manage to squeeze two under each seat you better posts picks mate! You already do the in-car measurements? I'm think they may be a touch long but that'd be pretty neat if ya get them all under there.

Beacon,
No I have not done any measurements yet. I would like to just take some measurements to see if it would work. They only problem Im having is that it might require me to take out my drawer . Otherwise I think they will fit. They may fit well at a angle firing towards the back. It it works I could keep my space.

The 6" powered ones measurements are:
18-1/2"L x
6-7/8"W x
8-1/4"H

What???

I could put it on its side. The width is the only thing I have to worry about.
