I would be using the RCA cables.
It sounds like a good idea for a two setup. However price in a little high. Also I want the availiable power when I want a little more in some songs. What would be the difference between the Woox and the 6-1/2" or 8" powered Bazooka. I have seen both specs and as far as I can tell the Woox is a better setup and is more reliable, however the Bazooka will provide more power and is cheaper. I don't know what I should plan for?

King,
You are correct. What you are paying is for a small settup that can "Emulate" biger speakers. If you are looking for big sound and loud volume, go with the bazookas. Although I like The woox system because it is compact self sufucient and it has a nice frequency response. The bazookas will be louder so you can place them in the back and still feel the boobmup front. The Woox where designed for small places or where space is a premium. Perfect for Pickup trucks. My sole reson for going with the Woox is because I don't want to loose any space in my car. The only dead space was under the driver seat. The Woox was the desision. Maybe the Bazookas can also fit under the seat, But your teeth will fall off...[|)] Ian

Ian-PT-GT,
I like the Woox, but I would like them with more power. I also like the frequnecy response they have virsa the Bazookas fixed response. I could be able to fit the Bazooka under both seat with the 6-1/2" style one. I beleive it would fit but have not taking exact measurements yet but I have put many things under there about 16" long and 5-6" tall that seem to fit. Too bad I can't compare somewhere before I buy them.[:I]

I've noticed that you guys are using the woox with the factory radio and speakers. I have an aftermarket radio (Alpine) and plan to upgrade the factory speakers and buy a separate amp to power them. Would the Woox be able to keep up with amped up aftermarket speakers?

Bass needs more power to be generated than mids or high.
If you install power amps for the other speakers, The Woox will be left behind. You may still feel it, but it will be lower than the rest of the speakers. Ian

Did anyone get the email newletter from Crutchfield about this product. If you go to their site you can read it by looking up the Woox.

Thanks Ian. I might try it from Crutchfield and then return it if I'm not happy with it.

I found a local car shop carries the cheap style bazookas, knock off brand. I though about buying just to see if it would fit.
