Default Adding 6 disc changer and Sirus to 2003 PT

I want to add Sirus and a OEM 6 disc changer to my 2003 PT. I've been looking on eBay and noticed several 6 disc head units from 2004-2006 that are supposed to fit the PT. I've also seen the Mopar satellite radio kit. Does anyone now how close the wiring harness is between years and if those type of Mopar head units are all Sirus capable if you add the Mopar satellite radio kit and the vehicle specific cabling kit?

Does yours have the bubble on the top near the back of the roof? If so all you need is an 03 to 05 head unit. Plug and play.

So my stock single CD head unit in my 2003 should work? I may still want to change it out for a newer one with the iPod jack and 6 disc changer.

No bubble on my cruiser, I'll have to install it and run the cables through the interior. I've been eyeing the Mopar sub-woofer kit on eBay and read the write up on it's installation. I figured while I pull the interior apart for that job, I might as well collect more parts and do it all at one time. Maybe I should buy a spoiler, get it painted and attach it while I have the head liner loose to install the bubble? That would be three jobs finished at once.

I got spoiled by the SirusXM radio in the Ram 3500, my wife's GL450 and Layla's Fiat 500 and want it in my PT. We live in kind of a valley and are radio signal challenged here. SirusXM has been a breath of fresh air if you don't like a steady diet of C&W or Rap,

The 6 disk is a direct swap. I did it for the project pt. Under the users projects section.:cool. Factory spoiler doesn't require any disassembly. So go for it to.

I will be doing a photo essay on installation of the Mopar sub in about two weeks.

If you have the stock 03 single CD unit, you can easily add an aux cable for about $11.88. Look for part number AIP-CROI-ID on eBay.

AIP-CROI-ID | eBay

With a aux input, who needs a CD changer? I removed my stock one from under the seat and gave it away for the cost of shipping.

The PT spoiler or "wing" does not bolt beneath the head liner. Instead it bolts to the back hatch. I recently installed one. It's not difficult but the holes you drill must be slotted.

My aux unit works great. Do you have the stock 2003 single CD head unit?

The 2002 is different. It needs to have a Disc and a Mode button on it. Here's mine. It's just a standard 2003 head unit. The same one is in my Ram Quadcab. I made an adapter so it would work in my 2001. This 2003 unit has the rectangular CD changer input on the back. To use the aux, you just press the Mode button and then chose the iPod or mp3 input using the Seek button :
