Optimum sound question

[xx(]Hey everybody. I just don't get It. Trying to figure out the best way to set up sound for better system. I only want to shell out about 4 to 5 hundred at most. Some say get amp some say no some say get woffer sub, or new head unit? Don't get the differnce. I just want more deffenity sound with good range. Any good shoping sugestions. All help appericated before I shell out the buck, I'm a bit sound illerate as u can see.[8D]

To get the best bang for the buck. I will say go with the CS8A5 Bazooka tube should go for about $230. Is is a 8" woofer with a built in 5 ch. amp to power the other interior speakers. Go with a cheap pioneer or sont head unit (radio) and some cheap Pioneer 3.5",6.5" and 5x7 speakers. Should be around $500 to $600. Will sound really good for the money. Can do it a little chaper by replacing the head unit and getting a Bazooka with a mono amp. Check out http://www.etronics.com

I went with a Pioneer p3500 head unit. Pioneer 6 3/4 and 6x8 4way speakers. And the Bazooka CS8A. Soon going to a JL Stealthbox.

Head Unit 35.00..Wal-Mart Clearance...the box got mauled so I complained that it had no remote or manual. Remote is 20 bucks and the manual is a free downlod from Pioneer.
