Default How to switch what CD is playing?

I recently installed an OEM 6-disc changer in my '05 and like it.

However, I was playing a CD in slot 3 and wanted to move to the CD in slot 2 and couldn't figure it out. I finally ejected the slot 2 CD and reloaded it.

How can I change from one CD to another? Even random play stays on one Cd, not switching. The only time it does switch is from 1 to 2 (or 2 to 3, etc) after it plays the last track on the first one.

The answer would be greatly appreciated. I checked the owner's manual already with no results.

Thanks a lot.

While in CD mode, you should be able to press any of the 1-6 buttons (same button as radio pre-set stations) and it should switch to that CD, provided that there is a CD loaded in the slot.

Thanks. I always overlook the simple solution. I'll try it tomorrow!

Yup, that's the answer. Thanks. I now have six discs of Western Swing in my player - Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers, The Time Jumpers, and Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. Ah ha, play it!

Glad that worked for you! What model stereo do you have? On the right side below the tuning knob should be (3) small letters.
