Default Intermittent Central Locking

Today I went to a local restaurant for dinner got out the car and when I went to lock it no matter where I moved around the car it would not lock using the fob, So I locked it with key.

When I got home after eating I got out car and it locked straight away using the fob.

It has happened previously using both fobs.

Anyone else experienced this and if so has anyone got a fix.

I have read of people reporting that being near a transformer on a pole, or high power lines or certain intense lighting caused remotes not to work.
See if it is location-related. Go back to same area and see if it acts up again...
