Subwoofer hook-up questions

Several people have wired their subs (WOOX,Bazooka) by tapping into the rear speaker leads. Wired this way the electronic x-over on the sub would filter the lower fq's to the rear speakers only? If I wanted the sub xover to filter the door speakers and rear speakers is there some way to cut the sub into both the rear and door speaker leads? Thanks

it depends on the one you bought. The standard one will only power the sub you have and should have a hook up give 1 more sub that doesn't have the amp built in to it. There is an 8" one that has a 5ch. amp built in to it. This one will power front and rear as well.
