Hi Guys,
Thanks for the info BLH1 and thanks for the welcome IRPT. One last question and then I'm ready to start working on the system. Does anybody (especially from experience) know where the best place(s) to splice into the door and rear pillars speakers is (are)? Thanks and I'll let the forum know how things turned out. Adios....Chupacabra |

For the doors easiest is before the bundles reaches the pass-through for each door.
For the rears it depends on what you're doing. If you're adding an amp that will be housed under the front seats the best place is right under trim plastic trim next to the door sills. That's where the bundles run towards the back. There's a fair amount of room under there for wires/connectors. If you're mounting the amp in the back the easiest place is to pull the rear pillar speaks and tie in there. |
