3 -way speakers

Please enlighten me, in my obsession over sound systems. I heard some 3-way speakers (Dual Brand) I thought they sounded good. Sales man said differnce between 2 way and 3-way is 2 way were better for cleaner higher sounds. That didn't ring true to me the 3-ways sounded good and were cheaper than the others. I know this is very subjective, but what really is the differnce. If 3-way have a twetter and a woffer why not go for the all in one. You're thoughts please?
Also looked at head sets the sales man showed me the cover kit for the stero cause it smaller but it was but ugly anyone know who makes a cover that matches better the look of srounding dash or is this something you'de have to customise.[:I]

This is the head unit or deck I got. It came with the front piece that matches the vent knob control black plastic piece.

I also went with 4-way speakers. 3-ways wouldn't cut it, I wanted the best sound for replacements.

4-way what is the 4 component, what brand would you recommend? Thanks for the picture is the flat black cover have a pocket where the buttoms oem were or is it a flat plate?[:I]

Im not sure eactly what you mean by the pocket where the OEM buttons where, but what this plate does is mount the deck and fill the space to equal a nice look. You'll notice the stock deck is much wider then the new one.

As far as the 4-way speaker I went with these because I could find any local. I would recommend any of the top brand speakers. I have used Pioneer before and like them. They also came with the speaker harness for the wires. You notice that Chrysler voids your warranty if you cut any wires. They have a special addapter piece that is provided with them. They also may be a little pricey.

SOUNDED SO GOOD I ORDERED IT. PANASONIC MXE CQ-C510U CD RECEIVER AND THE 4-WAY SPEAKERS. 6"3/4 AND THE 6X8. I READ UP ON THE STUFF DID AS MUCH COMPARISON WITH OUT HEARING SOUND AS MUCH AS COULD STAND IT. SO IT FELT LIKE A LITTLE BLIND FAITH. BUT REP IS GOOD. BOTTOM LINE, GUYS YOUR AGE SEEM TO KNOW MORE ABOUT SOUND THAN US OLD GUYS[8D] I'M SURE IT WILL IMPROVE THE SOUND 100 %.

No problem, I like to help others and appreciate the help I get too. Its what good mineded people do.

I hope you like thoose speakers. I think you made a good choice in deck too. I went with my setup because of previous experience with Poineers that were good.

You may also find the you may need some insulation too. I needed it just because my stock speakers would rattle stuff in the car, so imagine the new ones. I decieded to go with Dyno mat extreme. It has worked well so far. Im some what of a perfectionist thou. Test the rears first, there easier to install and reinstall.

Im glad you were able to compare and get what you wanted and felt were good. Anyone who knows just a little about stereo equipment should be able to install them. Its really not as hard as it looks or seems.
