dash premium 03 turbo tweeter

Default dash premium 03 turbo tweeter

Came across a 03 turbo with premium tweeters. They are smaller than my 01 ' s are they better?

The are likely not better. I did a survey a while back at a salvage yard to find the best OEM PT speakers. The original speakers in the 2001/2002 PT are better than the later ones. Truthfully, I did not compare the dash tweeters, but if the door speakers are an indication, I'd stick with the 2001 speakers.

Also, it should be noted that I removed the original door speakers from my 2005 GT and replaced them with door speakers from a 2001 Limited. And they sound MUCH better.
