Im looking for an amp 300-400 at 4 ohms.

I like the looks of this amp, the MOSFET power supply and the remote make it promissing.

you should stick to well known brands. legacy, pyle, boss, ect. have a rep of lying about their amps outputs. you will prob. end up seeing about 1/3-1/2 the power they advertise.

I agree. Those brands are not good. Go with a Alpine, Kicker, Rockford, Phoenix Gold, and there is maybe 1 or 3 more out there that is good. You can get a Phoenix Gold Octane amp for good money and they sound really good. I installed a couple of them in friends cars. There very pleased.

King, I agree stay with the brands that you know & trust. I have 3 MTX amps in the cruiser and an very happy with them. I have always gotten good performance/dollar spent....

I have had a boss 1000 watt amp installed with a 1000 watt 10". Im my Nissan it used to make the trunk bow when it hit. It equaled to twelves in sound side by side test. It doesn't sound as well now because I need to rewire it after 3 years.

I ended up buying a Boss 550 series amp from local store. Its all chrome looking to match my cruiser. The owner said for what I was doing that the 800watt rating would actually produce about 300-500 depending on supplies used. For one 12, I think thats a good deal. At 50 off I took it. Did I mention it has a life time warranty with the shop. Thats good enough for me.

Thanks for all the help though.

It does all I want it to. Mosfet and remote and alot more.
